EAST BRIDGEWATER — Acting Chief Michael Jenkins reports that after a month-long investigation, East Bridgewater Police arrested a man and seized marijuana, a firearm, cash and other items following the execution of a search warrant last week.
JAMES PARKER, AGE 23, of BROCKTON, was arrested and charged with:
- Possession of a Firearm without FID Card
- Possession of Stun Gun without FID Card
- Possession of Ammunition without FID Card
- Possession of Ammunition without FID Card
- Improper Storage of a Firearm
- Possession with Intent to Distribute a Class D Substance (Marijuana)
On Thursday, May 4, East Bridgewater Police executed a search warrant at 390 North Warren Ave. in Brockton following a month-long investigation by members of the FBI Metro Boston Gang Task Force. East Bridgewater Detective David Perrault was the lead Task Force Officer.
Among the items and substances located as a result of the search was a Glock 42, two loaded Glock 42 magazines with .380mm ammunition, a Stun Gun, two firearm holsters, several individual packages of Marijuana and $59,840 in cash.
PARKER was arrested at the scene, booked by East Bridgewater Police and released on $3,040 cash bail. He was arraigned in Brockton District Court on Friday, May 5.
The FBI Metro Boston Gang Task Force consists of members of the FBI, Boston Police, Massachusetts State Police, Bridgewater Police, Brockton Police, Bristol County Sheriff’s Office, East Bridgewater Police, Suffolk County Sheriff’s Department and Westport Police.
These are allegations. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
